An interactive exhibition designed for children above the ages of 7, Birth of Pakistan begins with the Lahore Resolution of 1940 and moves into the creation of Pakistan in 1947. Through installations, audio visual displays and a number of activities, young viewers gain a deeper understanding of Pakistan’s history and what life was like in the early days of the new nation..

The exhibition showcases the history and development of ceramic crafts in Pakistan from Mehrgarh c. 7000 B.C. and the Indus Valley Civilisation c. 3500 B.C. to the present day. It features over four hundred historical objects borrowed from the Quetta Museum, the Sindh Provincial Museum, the Department of Archaeology (Punjab), the Department of Culture (Sindh) and the National Museum of Pakistan together with private collections.
